• Building the AI department from the ground up with a team of full-stack engineers and backend developers to deliver production-grade AI systems.
• Architected and deployed end-to-end AI pipelines covering data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and deployment, reducing client operational costs by up to 30 percent through automation.

Autochek is a global car financing company offering buy now, pay later products to prospective car owners across Europe and Africa. I led internal tool development and automation for its collections team.

• Contributed to the Android engineering for M-Kopa's payment systems, including development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborated with multi-regional teams across five countries to localise and expand payment channels while meeting region-specific regulations and payment preferences.
• Integrated multiple local payment partners, expanding transaction capabilities and payment flexibility for diverse customer bases.
• Led initiatives to optimise the payment experience on Android devices, reducing transaction friction and increasing customer satisfaction.

SafeBoda is the largest bike-hailing app in Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda. I joined a team of more than eight engineers to maintain and improve its driver and passenger apps.

• Worked with the Android and iOS teams to design, develop, and scale payment products, improving transaction reliability and system performance.
• Launched three major payment applications that collectively handled over 500,000 daily transactions.
